Macaw’s Vendamatix product was the first of the vending products to be developed and has been in commission now for over six years, adminstering First Vending Services (UK) Limited’s (FVS) entire vending operation. The business control provided by the extensive corporate administration functions within Vendamatix, and by the timely delivery of machine servicing data from the field, has allowed FVS to expand their business interests and develop their operations beyond their traditional washroom services. Its intuitive user interface and tightly integrated environment has allowed FVS to reduce the overall head count required to operate the business whilst at the same time grow their client base.
Following from the development of Vendamatix, Macaw developed a separate vending system targeted at the drinks and snack vending industry, UniVend. Taking advantage of the introduction of the .NET development environment, UniVend takes a more machine centric view of the business operation and incorporates many of the deployment advantages that were presented by .NET. UniVend was developed in collaboration with West Country Vending Services (WCVS) and has been in operation with them now for over three years.
