On occasions Macaw has found itself in the position where the obvious solution to a customer’s requirement is best implemented as a product, thus helping reduce the customer’s development costs whilst augmenting Macaw’s intellectual and physical asset base.
This approach has allowed Macaw to establish a Development Framework for building Microsoft .NET Web Service based applications and Microsoft Mobile systems. These elements have coalesced to form products in the Vending, RFID and GIS marketplaces.
Each product uses the internet to transport data from the field to the head office administration systems using Windows CE based mobile operating systems and the latest .NET web technologies.
Whilst they can be considered as products in their own right they also demonstrate that Macaw has a wealth of experience in producing real integrated Web and Mobile solutions. This experience is put to daily use in delivering solutions for our customers at a fraction of the costs that would be incurred by using large systems integrators.
